If anyone fancies a run out in the sunshine tomorrow, some of us will be in Wasdale for a run of two halves. The first loop goes up via Esk Hause and over both Sca Fells by the Great Lakes route, the second goes up Yewbarrow, Scoat, Steeple and Pillar and then down from Black Sail.

We expect to set off from Brackenclose at 9am and then again at about 12.30. The second leg will be a bit more relaxed than the first, but neither is likely to be particularly racy.

It will be cold and there’s plenty of snow left, but the weather forecast looks good. All are welcome…

Almost Alpine snow conditions - looks amazing!
I can still ski out of my door though so not to jealous! - however, Saterday runs in the snow sounds fantastic right now!

Just to make me feel better – here are some pics from Scotland, a few are from the summer but most are of this winter. No running and no shorts but other adventures have been had…

Hannah – I know of one Black Combe Runner who did a long winter run from Glenmore Lodge this weekend – so you have no excuses!

Hannah Feb 22nd 2010

Its not that I dont want to run, but I need to pass my Winter ML so its nav nav nav at the moment! Lovely day today though. Blue skies and no wind - like being in the alps! And we did run a bit, but deep powder and winter boots dont agree with running!

Am about to add pics to the album from today...
